This collection includes homes right on the shore, like Poolewe Beach House on Loch Ewe and Craigton Croft House on Loch Carron, as well as cottages with views across sea lochs to the islands. Freshwater lochs, like Loch Lomond, Loch Ness and Loch Katrine, are inland lakes. Sea lochs, like Loch Carron, Loch Ewe and Loch Creran, are arms of the sea that reach inland, so they rise and fall with the tide and you are more likely to see seals, otters and seabirds. This collection includes cottages on both.
