Highland Haven was a fantastic self-catering space and Marc was an excellent host. The cottage comfortably accommodated 6 people (3 couples) all of whom loved to cook! The kitchen had everything you need and the open plan dinning room/breakfast bar were great for hanging out with the tremendous lock and mountain views. The living room was huge but also cozy with two large sofas which one could easily sleep on. It also had windows on three sides with amazing views and a large wood fireplace. All three bedrooms were nice sized, the two upstairs had incredible views. Plenty of room for parking and 5′ drive to Lochinver. Highland Haven is an excellent base to access Assynt and Coigach regions with their many beaches (e.g. Achmelvich) and mountain walks (eg. Stac Pollaidh). Second time we’ve stayed at this property, extremely clean and tidy in a gorgeous setting. Brilliant base if you want to explore the NC500 and surrounding area. Will be booking again next year. I highly recommend this property to anyone, the owner was easy to contact and a very nice person

Fabulous holiday cottage in a fantastic scenic setting. Incredibly clean and comfortable, with beautiful scenery all around. Fantastic that there were Stags literally in the garden in the mornings, it was a massive plus for anyone who loves wildlife. Great location and we even saw the Aurora on 3 separate nights, one of which was incredibly strong and clearly visible to the naked eye from the bedroom window. Loved this holiday cottage, couldn’t fault it. Thanks

Beautiful place! On the doorstep of the incredible outdoors that is the Scottish Highlands.s. On the doorstep of the incredible outdoors that is the Scottish Highlands. The house is really lovely, comfortable, and decorated beautifully. The red deer in the front garden coupled with seeing dolphins swimming in the bay through the window was just wonderful- the house even provided binoculars! Walks and beaches are nearby, we saw a seal swimming in a small cove called Achnahaird Beach – it is on one of the many walks you can try out. Also climbing the magnificent Suliven! We loved it!!!
