About this listing
Our lovely cottage and private spa room is set in an acre of mature Scots Pine and has spectacular views over the Cairngorm Mountains. It is very accessible to surrounding forest and amenities and with an endless supply of bike tracks and walking routes. Our cosy home welcomes you back from days out when you can kick off your boots and relax. You may choose to start your day with some exercise in the indoor exercise pool or finish it by soaking tired muscles in the hot tub. Each morning you can watch our squirrels and birds feed from the feed table outside the dining area window while you eat.
We are very well situated for outings to the Cairngorm ski resort, Landmark Adventure Park , Aviemore where there are many pursuits e.g. grass sledging, Go Ape, Segways, ice skating, cycling on the many paths, golf, fishing, walking trails and Highland Wildlife Park. Closer to home there are tennis courts, golf course and children’s play park in Nethy Bridge. 40 mins takes you to the beach either at Glenmore or the coast at Nairn.
When you feel a little thirsty or peckish there is a very easy walk to the Nethy Tearooms or bar/restaurant at the hotel. Also in the village is a well stocked grocer shop and excellent butcher/deli. Further afield Grantown on Spey is a short 4 mile drive for additional cafes, pubs and restaurants and food shops. For more entertainment,restaurants and bars Aviemore is just 15 minutes by car.
