Offering a truly special setting for your next self-catering holiday — just three miles from the charming market town of Kelso.

This beautifully spacious, single-storey country cottage sleeps six and combines rural charm with modern comfort. Whether it’s birdsong in the morning, woodland walks on your doorstep, or simply the soothing silence of the countryside — Millsyde invites you to switch off and slow down.

Inside the Cottage
Step in through the terrace to a light-filled, level-entry space designed for easy living and togetherness.

Sociable Kitchen – Cook up a storm with the Range Master ceramic hob, twin ovens and grill, while chatting with family and friends in the open-plan layout.

Relaxing Living Room – Snuggle up beside the wood burner in winter or open the doors to let the Borders breeze drift in during summer.

Three Bedrooms – The master features a king-sized bed and en-suite shower, while the other two can be arranged as twins or super-king. All have feather bedding and share a stylish family bathroom with a double-ended bath and walk-in shower.

Utility Space – Complete with washer, pulley, space for your dog’s bed — and yes, dogs are welcome (see below)!

Cosy Comforts – Underfloor heating, central heating, solar panels, and a wood burner mean Millsyde is always comfortable — whatever the weather.

Boot Room & Garage – Plenty of storage for rods, bikes, golf gear… and a table tennis table for a bit of fun.

When you arrive, you’ll be greeted with tea on a tray and a thoughtful welcome basket including fresh fruit, eggs, milk and juice.

Outside at Millsyde
Surrounded by an open garden that wraps around the house, you’ll find outdoor seating on the terrace beneath wisteria and honeysuckle — the perfect spot for morning coffee or evening wine. The front garden is fenced (but not fully enclosed), while walks from the doorstep meander along the farm and riverbanks.

A Note for Dog Owners
We welcome well-behaved dogs with considerate owners (£25 per dog). We keep breeding ewes and cherish local wildlife, so please keep dogs under control at all times. We ask that dogs stay off the furniture and out of bedrooms, keeping them to the tiled kitchen and utility areas. Please clean up thoroughly both indoors and out.
