Easy to get to from either Troon or Ardrossan which are less than an hour’s drive from Glasgow.
The Cottage has carefully constructed interiors combining understated aesthetic with inviting comfort — soft furnishings, natural textures and a wood-burning stove which offers a warm, cosy atmosphere designed to feel welcoming in every season.
Discreetly nestled within a captivating landscape the property offers a retreat with a special sense of peace and privacy. Surrounded by countryside being restored to a natural state, with numerous walks on the doorstep, through native woodland, wetland and meadows and within easy reach of standing stones, an iron-age fort and spectacular waterfall, this is a perfect place for discovery and relaxation.
Benview Cottage comprises an entrance hall with space for outdoor footwear and clothing, sitting room with wood burning stove and flat screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with walk-in ‘rain shower’ and utility room with dishwasher, washing machine & dryer. Upstairs is an open airy bedroom complete with king-size bed and large built-in wardrobe.
Dog-friendly with an enclosed garden, high-quality WiFi throughout and access to a dedicated EV charging unit and a short drive away from local amenities: shops, restaurants and pub.
Linen, towels, robes, slippers, toiletries, washing powder, kitchen basics, dog bedding, bowls and towels are all provided.
