On the banks of the River Spey, Weiroch Lodge is a beautiful 18th-century mill conversion set in idyllic surroundings on  Ballindalloch Estate, the Highland home of the Macpherson-Grant family since the 1500’s.

With panoramic views, abundant wildlife and delightful walks straight from the door, Weiroch is a truly special place to stay and the perfect base from which to explore the many attractions that Speyside has to offer. The Cairngorm National Park, renowned for its vast, diverse landscapes and mountains is nearby, and the pretty villages and sandy beaches dotted along the scenic coastline of the Moray Firth are just a short drive away. There are historic castles and gardens galore to visit, or take a trip to Loch Ness or Skye for an enjoyable day out.

For a more adventurous day out, why not try salmon-fishing, golfing, hill-walking, mountain biking, or canoeing down the River Spey. Traditional Highland Games with Scottish Dancing festivals take place across Scotland during the summer months, always a wonderful sight. And, of course, being on the Malt Whisky Trail, there are numerous world famous whisky distilleries within the Speyside area, such as Glenfiddich, Macallan, Aberlour and Glenfarclas, many offering tours and tastings.

Accommodation is flexible: two guests sharing the ground-floor master bedroom stay at a much reduced rate, while two further double bedrooms are available for up to six people in total. All the bedrooms have en-suite facilities and are beautifully furnished with luxury bedlinen and complimentary toiletries. The living space is stunning with a huge, well-equipped dining kitchen, magnificent sitting-room with vaulted ceiling, log-burner and fabulous views, utility-room and an extra cloakroom downstairs. Outside, there is ample free parking and a large, fenced garden with alfresco eating area and lawns.
