Stable Yard Cottage

This is the largest of all three cottages and can sleep up to 6 people. The cottage has been sympathetically refurbished and furnished with a pleasing mix of contemporary and period furniture which gives it warm and homely feel. It is very spacious with all the bedrooms and two bathrooms situated upstairs leaving the kitchen, living/dining area downstairs. . Stable Yard Cottage is set within an open courtyard, together with a barn and the estate wall of Castletoun House overlooking charming country views south across Blackadder River to Greenlaw Mill Farm. Unusually for a village property the position offers a certain seclusion without being isolated. All rooms have open southerly country views giving the cottage its sunny and light feel to it. This cottage is children and pet friendly and provides an excellent opportunity for the families get-together. We also take group bookings (up to 14 guests) for bigger groups of family gatherings, birthday or anniversary celebrations.

Hot Tub Usage

The spa is available to two other cottages and has to be booked – subject to availability. We charge £30 per day to use the spa. For £30 all the guests in your group  have an exclusive access to the hot tub and sauna for that one day (from 9:30am to 10:30pm). The use of robes and towels is included.
