Two nights to celebrate my partner’s PhD success. The cottage was finished superbly, perfectly combining cosy countryside ambiance with modern amenities. Amazing location. Secluded but handy for Aberfeldy and Pitlochry. House is well appointed and clean. Quality furniture which is older but very comfy and lends a cosy feel. John is a good host, not intrusive but there if you need him. Very dog friendly with massive ( and I mean massive) garden that is all yours. 10/10 Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5
The cottage is in the most glorious location ever! Even when the weather isn’t brilliant, the view from the hot-tub still takes some beating. The cottage is extremely well-equipped and very comfortable. The fact that the pretty garden is completely enclosed made taking our dog, who fancies himself as a bit of an escape artist, utterly stress-free. He swam and swam in the Tay and was as happy as Larry. The facilities within the garden, sauna, hot-tub, fire-pit and BBQ are fabulous. We cannot wait to return.
Perfect location for a relaxed, romantic retreat, but within easy distance of some beautiful countryside and places to visit. Can’t wait for a return visit!
Just returned home having spent New Year at The Ferry. We have looked forward to visiting this cottage since seeing it rafting down the Tay and it definitely did not disappoint. John was such an attentive host and made the holiday very relaxing, giving suggestions for great dog walks and places to visit. The only disappointment was that we had to go home, we look forward to visiting again.
