Reviews:
“Our stay at Bothan Buidheag was truly exceptional, our only wish is that we could have stayed longer! Janet’s warm and welcoming style immediately made us feel at home and her breakfast was delicious. The hut itself was cosy, with everything that you could need to be comfortable. The little touches such as the many animals around the hut – donkeys, chickens, and more – made the experience particularly memorable. The location was stunning, with panoramic views over to Rum and the surrounding mountains. We could not recommend this place enough. Thank you again!”
“We celebrated our first wedding anniversary here and it was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, Janet has a great eye for detail and quality which made it feel so special. She was welcoming and always there if you needed her. The donkeys and chickens were great to be near to over the weekend. We truly loved it!”
“We had a wonderful stay in Bothan Buidheag. Janet is a super host and made us feel so welcome. The shepherd’s hut is so well thought-out – it has handy items and home comforts tucked away in every corner – and super-cosy, even in the driechest of Skye weather… Gilbert and George the donkeys make for excellent company too.”
“Our stay was fantastic. The facilities are great and the owner is extremely polite, friendly and helpful. There were lots of animals roaming around that were all very friendly and approachable. This made things feel really natural and rustic which is right up our street. The hut was very comfortable and has everything you would need in such a small, cosy space which is ideal.”
“We had a lovely time staying at the sheperd huts. It was perfectly situated for our plans to explore south skye on the first 2 days of our trip. Janet was a great host.”
