You will have your choice between two double bedrooms: one on the ground level and one upstairs. The ground-floor bedroom includes an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and heated towel rack. If you sleep upstairs, you will also have access to an ensuite wetroom. Both bedrooms are painted in exhilarating colors and brimming with luxury.

Upstairs, your party will be able to enjoy an expansive living area including a sitting room, landing, and kitchen. In the sitting room, you will find the cabin’s star attraction: the bay window that just might offer the best view of the entire glen. Because adventures can get a little messy, a washer and dryer are also available for your use.

Your party will be provided a French market-style basket, and, if your stay and the vegetables are timed right, you will be able to pick your own groceries. Free-range eggs are also available. To enjoy fresh-baked artisan bread throughout your stay, you can place an order at least one week before you book your trip. Pair that bread with homemade jam, jelly, or local honey to start your day with a taste of Scotland’s bounty. When you are ready to leave the peaceful surroundings to explore the scenery, The Hayloft is within walking distance of Clachnaben and just off the Cairn O Mount road. If anyone in your party is “collecting Munros,” you are an hour away from Lochnagar. Travel an hour to visit the legendary painted ceilings at Crathes Castle and all the delights available at Balmoral Castle.
