The Lodge has one double bedroom and one en-suite superking or twin room as well as a large room comprising of a spacious shower and freestanding bath for long luxurious soaks. The house also has a utility room and each room enjoys a glass door that opens onto a Patio area just waiting to immerse you in amazing views, scenery and local wildlife.

Relax in the spacious living area which has been thoughtfully designed to let the outside in and maximise the views from within. Underfloor heating throughout is warm underfloor and there is also a log-burning stove for cosy nights in and a abundance of soft comfy furnishings including a swivel -rotating lounge chair and comfy sofas. The dining area is perfect for entertaining with a large solid wood dining table and high leather back chairs. You could spend hours window watching from here and lose yourself in the beauty of the landscape and wildlife.

This gorgeous, 2 bedroom apartment, sleeping 4 is situated on the east of Edinburgh's historic Georgian New Town.  From the over-sized antique mirrors, the original flag stones in the hall, cast iron style bedsteads and curtains with swathes of fabric to the period shutters and original marble fireplaces, it is the classic Georgian New Town drawing room apartment.

The apartment has two spacious bedrooms and can sleep four comfortably. On the right you will find the drawing room where there's a huge marble fireplace, two large windows with original shutters and silk brocade curtains looking onto the tree-lined, cobbled East Claremont Street. Sink into one of the two comfy sofas or two velvet armchairs and relax after a busy day's sightseeing.

The kitchen overlooks beautiful leafy gardens to the rear of the apartment with a large dining table which comfortably seats up to 6 guests and all the pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and gadgets you could possibly need for your stay. The kitchen is well equipped with an integrated fridge freezer, dishwasher, stainless steel oven and hob, in addition to a washing machine.

After a day exploring the city you can relax with thick, feather-filled duvets and bedspreads for the perfect night's sleep.  All linen including fluffy bath sheet sized towels and hand towels are provided for guests. Gorgeous Arran Aromatics hand pump soap and hand soap are provided in the bathroom for guests' use. The bathroom has a WC, bath and hand held shower for guests use and nostalgic tongue and groove lined walls in keeping with the period décor of the property.

Being on the ground floor you don't have to struggle up stairs balancing buggies and carrying bags if you're travelling with children. George V Park is a couple of minutes away and Barony Park, which is five minutes away, is very urban with a herb garden and a great play area with excellent climbing frames and swings.  There are also the famous Edinburgh Botanic Gardens no more than 10 minutes away, with acres of lovely walks amongst exotic trees and shrubs. For exercising little ones on a rainy day you can pay a visit to Maddie and Marks at Ocean Terminal - an excellent soft play centre with a great cafe and children's play farm shop, garage and pizzeria.  There's also great shopping and good places to eat.

Located on a traditional cobbled street, the apartment is a few minutes' walk from Edinburgh's vibrant Broughton Street quarter, which is crammed with speciality food and wine shops, boutiques, delis, restaurants, cafes and bars.  Heading south, it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the shops on George Street and heading north, it's a 5-10 minute walk to the open spaces of the beautiful Royal Botanic Garden.
