Glendale in Mallaig is a newly renovated and welcoming semi-detached cottage sleeping 4 guests in the fishing village of Mallaig. The cottage offers two comfortable bedrooms, one king size with flat screen TV in situ with views of the gardens and one twin bedded room with flat screen TV and views to the islands.


The perfect base for visiting the islands and popular highland villages of Mallaig, Morar and Arisaig. Facilities include a large well-appointed kitchen with induction hob cooker, oven, microwave, coffee machine and dishwasher. There is also a washing machine for guests use. In the living area, there is a multi fuel stove burner and comfortable seating area perfect for cosy nights in, TV (Freesat/Freeview) and Wi-Fi is available throughout for streaming your favourite movies. Pad acros warm floors with underfloor heating in the kitchen and oil central heating throughout. Sealladh Na Mara

Gaze out at the stunning sea views over the sugar white sands at Morar – your Highland retreat makes the perfect romantic escape with relaxing beach strolls just moments from your door and glittering starlit skies above.


Sealladh Na Mara is a separate self contained holiday accommodation which forms a private wing of the larger property where the owners currently reside.

Your beachside property sits in an elevated position overlooking the famous "white sands of Morar", with spectacular views over the Morar Estuary, a mere five minute walk to reach the carribean-esque beach, which was immortalised in the film Local Hero starring Burt Lancaster.


Sleeping 4 to 6 guests this newly built accommodation comprises of two good-sized bedrooms. On the ground floor there is a twin room with two singles and a smart TV. Ascend the stairs to the second floor and you will find the master bedroom off a mezzanine style where there is a double bed and a snug area with an additional double sofa bed and TV. All rooms have spectacular views over the white sands of Morar. The property also has two separate shower rooms, one situated on the ground floor and one on the first floor.


There is a fully fitted open plan kitchen which offers a great social space letting in lots of light and which is open plan to the living area with smart TV, crackling wood burning stove (logs provided) and dining area. The kitchen is complete with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/drier etc. Stepping outside from the property there is a large decking area perfect for morning coffee by the beach or a glass of wine as the sun goes down over the stunning Morar Estuary. A barbecue is provided with charcoal for guests use during their stay. The property has good eco credentials with high-grade insulation throughout and underfloor heating produced by a ground source heat pump to keep you cosy all year round.
