The Saw Mill
A magical secluded escape at the Sawmill Glen Dye awaits you with wood fired hot tub, converted 1800s forester's cabin and 1955 Airstream, hidden deep in the Scottish woodland.
Deep in these beautiful Scottish woods in the footprint of the Glen Dye estate's old sawmill hides a wilderness escape with a difference. Wake up to woodland birdsong and the tinkling of the old lade stream that passes your doorstep from either the huge double bed of the 50s original Airstream Safari Caravan with its 20th Century American décor, or the king size bed in the newly arrived Keepers Hut (another double bed is available in the Seed Store in the form of a huge and comfy sofa bed). A few metres away sits The Seed Store - your kitchen, dining room and sitting room in a wonderful wooden building originally created in the late 1800s as a kitchen, refuge and seed store for the estate foresters and now completely updated inside. You will also enjoy your own outdoor wood-fired hot tub and a wonderful outdoor shower created in the bones of the abandoned sawmill.
The chef in you is going to love the choices for cooking, from the kitchen in the seed store to the Big Green Egg oven or sit round the firepit and make an evening of it. Relax in the Swedish wood-fired bath Skandi style with an invigorating dip in the stream to get the circulation going! There's oodles of hot water for showers in The Wash House over by.
