About this listing

This Tiny Home started out life as an old coal shed, but now offers a tiny, quirky and cozy retreat in the middle of the 200 year old Historic fishing village Footdee, situated at Aberdeen Beach. Fittie is a unique, conservation area steeped in history.

The Tiny Home provides you with a wee home from home , to come back to after exploring all the sights of Aberdeen or a long stroll along the beach
The Shed may be tiny but it is packed with character and the perfect place to lay your head down after exploring or to spend a romantic night in .

In The Shed , the lounge area has a smart tv with integrated DVD player and over 100 Dvd’s to pick from. The Shed has no oven or hob , but there is a toaster, microwave, coffee machine and full size fridge with ice box. With all the the varied food traders and cafes a 5 minute walk all along the beach promenade, many of our guests choose to eat out . There is of course the award winning restaurant “The Silver Darling” only 2 minutes from The Shed. You are provided with a welcome pack for your arrival and of course we would not be proper Scottish hosts if we were not to provide you with a wee dram of whisky. The shower room has a toilet, basin, shower and Scottish toiletries for your use.

The bedroom is spacious and has a comfy super king bed with fresh white bed linen, cosy tartan blanket and ample hanging storage and drawers .
There is also an iron , ironing board, hairdryer and hair straighteners and smart tv with dvd player.

Outside there is a table and chairs, to sit and watch the world go by with a coffee or your wee dram.

The Coal Shed was super cosy. A big comfy king size bed Great treats including fresh berries and fresh flowers. A really cute neighbourhood, close to the beach. Fun place to stay.

We had a great 2 night stay and couldn’t be more pleased. The Old Fittie Coal Shed was charming and everything you could need Ian had available. Adorable setting around the shed and easy walk along the beachfront. All around was peaceful and was lovely to hear the birds chirp away.

My sister and I stayed at the Tiny Shed and absolutely LOVED IT! There were so many thoughtful touches to make one feel at home and then some. Ian was so easy to communicate with and had many helpful tips. We loved sleeping upstairs under the twinkling stars, the fresh flowers, the delish yogurt and museli, the orange juice and milk. The movie selection was great. The towels were fresh and the tartan blankets were absolutely cozy. It was absolutely charming and delightful. We said it’s like Scotlands version of Capitola in California. We loved it and would highly recommend staying. We also envisioned another trip to stay a week. Thank you Ian!

I visited my daughter in Aberdeen and we rented the little tiny house. It was perfect! We had a cozy time; took walks on the beach, drank coffee, watched movies; it was cozy and warm; totally quiet and all super clean! Thanks again! Also for the fresh fruits and other food and the beautiful flowers!
