The Meadows Dornoch is possibly the most perfect cottage in probably the prettiest town in the Highlands! Whether you are visiting to play golf on world-famous Royal Dornoch golf course, walk or cycle in our wonderful, wild landscape, or visit beaches with miles and miles of empty, golden sands, nothing is more relaxing than returning home to a cosy, comfortable house with every luxury.

The Meadows sits in a quiet part of Dornoch’s historic, sandstone town centre, within short walking distance of the excellent shops and restaurants the town boasts, as well as of the Golf Course, beach, Castle, Cathedral, Distillery and old Town Jail! With a pretty south-facing garden, a BBQ and out-door furniture, there will be lots of opportunities for al-fresco eating in the summer. But inside there’s underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove in the sitting room, so you will always be warm and cosy. Downstairs, The Meadows is contemporary, open plan and filled with light. In the mornings, make your Nespresso and read a paper in our sun-room. Then take your breakfast at the granite breakfast bar, looking at the different-coloured lights filtering through the giant stained-glass window depicting nearby Loch Fleet and its basking seals. In the evening, have a drink or read a book in front of the sitting room fire, then make delicious meals in our well-appointed kitchen using top-end appliances, to share around the large, farmhouse dining table which easily seats 8. We can also arrange for you to have meals catered for you, if you prefer.

The Meadows can sleep up to 8 people in 4 double bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, super-comfy beds, Egyptian cotton bedlinen, hairdryers, fluffy towels, bathrobes, and complimentary luxury toiletries. The downstairs bedroom is fully accessible and has a large shower room. Upstairs, the master suite has a HUGE double-ended nickel bath, perfect for sharing! Outside, The Meadows has a secure golf club store and off-street parking for up to 3 cars (more can be parked for free in the road, if required). There are also 2 EV charging points in a car park about 50 m away.
