Leanach Farm Cottage is a recently refurbished and well-equipped 2-bedroom cottage that offers a pleasant atmosphere.
The ground floor bedroom is capacious and welcoming, featuring a large super-king bed. The upstairs double bedroom is a roomy attic bedroom characterised by a low ceiling and sloping walls. The attic bedroom is reached via a steep yet charming stairway, enhancing the cottage’s appeal.The bathroom, kitchen, dining area and sitting room with a wood-burning stove are all located on the ground floor. Electric heating is present throughout. Both bedrooms and the sitting room are equipped with Smart TVs. Each bedroom is equipped with super-king beds that may be separated into single beds if desired.
The cottage is situated at the front of the farmyard, while the front of the cottage and the south-facing garden offer stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. A barbecue/firepit is provided. Logs and charcoal are supplied for the stove and barbecue on the first night. Additional supplies can be bought from Iain and Rosanne. A fishing permit for the Leanach stretch of the River Nairn costs £20.00 per day.
Leanach Farm Cottage is pet-friendly and has a gated yard to protect pets from the nearby calm country road.
There is also the option to visit the sheep and goats. Along with a sheepdog demonstration can be arranged free of charge to resident guests by prebooking.
