Guest Reviews :
“How lovely to wake up in a tree house with the sound of birds and sheep. A truly magical place, at one with nature. Every detail has been thought of, Bill and Sukie have created a very special place”.– Simon and Liz June 2018
“We fell in love the moment we arrived, such a lovely warm friendly welcome from Bill and Sukie. We got to taste Sukie’s delicious baking and cooking – we would recommend trying the natural, local produce – the smoked salmon is to die for. Such a beautiful place, with all the fine little details. It is the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in and I wish we could take it home with us”.– Felicity and Stephen Glasgow, April 2018
“It’s with huge heavy hearts that we are leaving this place. We have enjoyed just listening to the stillness, watching for wildlife and feeling at peace for the first time in ages. Bill and Sukie have indeed made our experience even more special. Their kindness, warmth and generosity is something to treasure. We truly will leave with sadness but with memories that will stay with us. So we thank you both for giving us a place where we have found ourselves again. For the superb food you both provided, the thoughtful gestures and true warmth offered to us from the moment we arrived. Thank you from us all and from the bottom of our hearts. Marion and Pete. P.S. Rosie (the dog) will miss Bob.”– Marion and Pete June 2018
“Sukie and Bill we have had the most incredible stay – thank you! Bill has reinforced our intention to build “that” smoker. The best food really is worth waiting for. Sukie’s cooking has been wonderful – I can’t remember when we last ate so well over such a period.
We have loved the tranquility of the cottage and I know we’ll be back – next time with the little one. We’ll also bring a friend for Bob the dog.”– Carol Ann and Brian Glasgow, June 2018
“The views from the huge windows, the warmth of the log burner and the enormous bed, books and board games, we had everything we needed right here, enjoying great days out walking and to the top of Fiddle Hill to admire the views and fly kites.” – Steve and Katie Tamworth, April 2018
