Guests Comments :

“Christmas at Fearnach Bay House – Our 5th Christmas at Fearnach bay house, it is such a beautiful home where we feel very relaxed and comfortable! We were lucky enough this year to watch an otter literally in the shoreline in front of the house, it was fishing and bringing the fish out of the water to eat and than back into the water playing. We could highly recommend paying this beautiful part of Scotland and house a visit.”

“Our perfect stay at Fearnach House – We stayed at Fearnach Bay House for the forth time already. Being big Scotland fans for more than 25 years and big admirers of the Argyll area, we tried to spot the most lovely and luxurious places all over Scotland. Some years ago, we finally managed to find “our place”, literally a place where we “come home” every time when we visit Scotland – Fearnach Bay House. The house is beyond amazing, it’s really perfect. All of it. It’s very spacious (definitely for the two of us 🙂 ) lovely furnished with so much love in the detail. Very clean of course and perfectly equipped – in the kitchen, the bathrooms, the living areas, etc. Truly a gem with all luxury one could wish for. I’m always in frequent contact with Rory and Jennie before and after our stays – which I really appreciate. To be taken care of in such a professional and wonderful way, that’s how it should be. The evening when we arrived, some gifts, cake and lovely flowers all over within the house gave us a very warm welcome – as always. At no time during our stay (and before, after) we did not feel home and being part of the “Fearnach Bay House” family. We can only recommend Fearnach Bay House and provide the highest praise. We will definitely and anyhow come back next year and are already looking forward to it! Actually I should not praise the place with so much excitement … to make sure it’s not always booked out … and we’ll have our 2019 stay for sure ;-))) Just kidding. If you’re visiting Scotland/Argyll and you’re looking for a house to stay – this is the place. Perfect. Period. Thanks for everything!”

“Perfect – Stunning location, beautifully presented and comfortable. Fearnach Bay is really well equipped and the owners are very helpful and friendly.”

“Spacious, comfortable and warm house with wonderful views – This is our second stay at Fearnach Bay House, and it did not disappoint second time around. It is beautifully kept by the owners, and is spacious, warm and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is beautifully equipped and there is plenty of room to dry wet clothes and shoes in the adjoining washroom. In fact it has everything you need after a long scottish walk in the rain or a spell on a boat visiting the nearby islands”.

“The very best of everything – this house has it all (and in spades!) -We all loved this house and place and everyone wanted to return to it again, so at the end of our holiday we immediately booked it again for next year. It really does have it all. This ideal and well equipped lovely family house is clean, warm, very comfortable, spacious, light and airy, very well designed and tastefully decorated. There are large sofas to relax on in front of a wood burning stove should you feel like it. We watched a pine martin on the lawn, gannets diving in the loch, a few yachts coming and going silently and all of this was viewed from the comfort of an armchair. Our family of three generations enjoyed BBQ’s and meals on the sunny patio, fishing & rowing on the crystal clear waters of the loch, lots of lovely walks, observing the abundant varieties of flora and fauna in this really quiet and peaceful environment with very few people around. The whole area is beautiful, unspoiled and has a varied landscape with mature trees and no pine plantations. The owners are genuinely warm and welcoming and immediately made us feel ‘at home’ and relaxed. You only have to read The Visitor’s Book to find page after page full of positive comments from guest (many of whom are regular returners)who are not just from the UK but from all over the world and who like us value this really lovely, unstuffy, comfortable family house with everything you could need, sitting in this wonderful place. As I previously said; we booked it again for next year because it really does have it all and for all ages. If you just need to relax, come here, you will unwind in no time as you will not be able to help yourself. Wheelchair users are accommodated with temporary access ramps whilst the whole ground floor with bedroom and en suite are easily accessible as well.”

“Five Star Scotland – Fantastic property in a superb location – The house was warm, very clean and fully stocked with everything you could need – the little rowing boat on the Loch was a nice additional touch.
Given the time of year, we were ‘lucky’ enough to eat lunch on the very sunny patio whilst also making use of the log burner at night!”
